The Tillage Family Christmas Lights are shining once again.
Tim and Alease Tillage started this tradition at their Glebe Road home in Mathews in 2018, lighting up the season for friends, neighbors and the community. The Christmas display went live during the Thanksgiving weekend.
“Love to see all the people driving by and all the waves and thumbs up we get,” Alease said. The lights are on from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
“We have a Facebook page now [The Tillage Family Christmas Lights] also for people to leave comments,” she said. “We rewire a lot of older pieces with new LED lights so almost everything is LED so very energy efficient. We are adding new things all the time.
“If anyone would like to make a donation, please give to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society,” she said.
