The Gloucester High School boys’ tennis team had its home match against Kecoughtan on Thursday, March 14. GHS fell to Kecoughtan, 9-0. Jackson Felder (5-7 and 2-6) and Ian Walters (4-6 and 0-6) had the best showing for GHS.

GHS boys’ tennis team fell to New Kent, 7-2, at the Dukes’ home match on Monday, March 18. New Kent’s top two singles players were Ethan Hanson as seed one and Aden Alexander as seed two, who cruised to victory.Gloucester’s #4 seed Trevor Scribbins earned the team’s first singles match win of the season. Gloucester’s third seed doubles team of Dylan Whitacre and Justin Sykes filled in as second seed doubles and earned Gloucester’s first doubles match win of the season.
Justin Sykes at sixth seed singles and Dylan Whitacre at third seed singles both had competitive matches but eventually lost to New Kent’s Quin Hodges and Sam Lang.
