GHS tennis falls to Menchville, Grafton

The Gloucester High School girls’ tennis team fell to Menchville at home last Thursday, 8-1.
 Casey Billings posted the only win for GHS in her singles game after going into a tiebreaker. Kearney Palas, Janaye Oberlin, Sam Wooldridge, Ally Bishop and Julianna Ward also played singles matches that evening.
The three doubles teams that played for GHS—Palas and Ward, Wooldridge and Haylee Hartleben, and Billing and Oberlin—all lost their matches as well.
Grafton
On Monday, the GHS girls fell to Grafton, 9-0. The team’s next match will be against Bethel today, Thursday, April 25, at 3:30 p.m. at Bethel High School.
