The Gloucester High School varsity girls participated in the York Holiday Basketball Tournament Friday and beat the hosts 49-41. Gloucester advanced to the final on Saturday, where they lost to Hampton Roads Academy 47-36.
The GHS varsity boys traveled to Tabb High School on Friday for the Bayport Holiday Tournament. The Dukes came close to upsetting the hosts but lost to Tabb 72-71 in overtime. The Tigers went on to win the tournament.
