The Gloucester High School varsity softball and baseball teams defeated their Warwick counterparts on the road Tuesday afternoon.
The GHS softball team defeated Warwick, 21-0. The Lady Dukes scored seven runs in the first inning. Cameron Palas led the team offensively by achieving two home runs and adding six RBIs.
Autumn Cookson began the game with a double and later scored on an Alivia Bruce single. Kaia Hutton, Grace Sinko-VanLiew and Tessa Carteret all added single RBIs. Cookson also added two RBI singles in the first inning.
The Lady Dukes scored two more runs in the second inning and added seven more in the third. Palas achieved a three-run homer and Hutton, Alexis Dishman and Samantha Carlton all added an RBI in the third. Gloucester finished the game in the fifth inning after racking up five more runs.
