The Gloucester High School cross country team competed at the Ham City Hustle Invitational on Saturday. Most athletes finished with their best times of the season.
For the girls’ team, the first three athletes to finish for the Dukes were Rachel Blittle (24:08.56), Mackenzie Alcorn (24:21.93), and Kayla Turner (24:44.48). They were followed by Hannah Broadwell (25:11.42), Olivia Gray (25:39.54), Sarah Bullins (26:00.32), Zoe Scott (26:34.04), Stella Scott (29:44.44) Chelsea Shield (29:47.80), Kandalyn Baxley (31:33.41), Camille Reyes (31:53.13) and Alexandra Byser (38:02.58).
For the boys’ team, the first three athletes coming in were Aiden Pincince (17:39.62), Joel Taylor (18:55.17) and Erik Waters (19:49.49). They were followed by Greyson Clements (21:11.30) Brayden Jackson 21:17.21, Cesar Gomez (22:03.35), Logan McAllister (23:30.30), Jason Coleman (23:49.90), Lincoln Alcorn (24:33.80), Braylin Johnson (25:05.64), Ryker Jordan (25:24.20) and Justin Sykes (29:02.04).
