The Gloucester High School indoor track team traveled to Hampton last Wednesday to compete in the third Peninsula District meet of the season.
Deziray Bellinger finished in seventh place in the girls’ 55-meter dash with a time of 7.68 seconds and fifth in the 300-meter dash with a time of 45.79 seconds.
In the girls’ 500-meter dash, Reese Miller took seventh with a time of 1:29.2 and Kaylee Hall finished in 15th, running 1:39.21.
In the girls’ 1,000-meter run, Madilyn Kadel finished in fourth, running 3:56.22. Zoe Scott with 3:58.93, Caroline Klink with 4:00.05, Rachel Blittle (JV) with 4:00.55 and Hailey Pena-Hawk with a time of 4:01.68 finished seventh through 10th. Adyson Jeffery took 14th with a time of 4:27.58.
Abigail Junker took first in the girls’ 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:22.50. Close behind in second place was Chloe Sylvester who recorded a time of 6:25.49. In third place was Ayelu Mason (JV) with a time of 6:30.27. Peyton Price (JV) took seventh with a time of 6:46.52...
