GHS girls beat Warriors, 3-1

The Gloucester High School girls’ soccer team won its away game against Kecoughtan, 3-1, last Thursday.In the first half, Kecoughtan opened the scoring, but GHS remained strong with saves from Emily Baker, Lilyan Wright and Rylee Amaral. 
GHS responded with three goals in the second half. Wright scored one goal and Amaral scored two to seal the win for GHS. 
The girls will play again today, Thursday, May 2, against Smithfield, starting at 6:30 p.m.
