The Gloucester High School boys’ tennis team won two home matches against Phoebus and Heritage.
Phoebus
The GHS boys won their home game, 6-3, against Phoebus last Thursday, May 2. Among the exciting matches for the day for the Dukes were Jackson Felder and Dylan Whitacre at #2 and #3 singles, respectively, and the second-seed doubles team of Felder and Ian Walters.
Heritage
On Tuesday, the Dukes posted another 6-3 team victory, this time against the visitors from Heritage. The player of that match was Felder who had a tough game that went to the 10-point super-tiebreaker for the third set.
The boys will play in an away match against Woodside today, Thursday, May 9, at 3:30 p.m.
