The Gloucester High School indoor team competed at the fourth Peninsula District Meet last Wednesday in Hampton. Head coach Stanley Hundley said the team finished the regular season with GHS athletes setting 45 personal records.
Girls
Deziray Bellinger placed fourth in the girls’ 55-meter dash thanks to a time of 7.61-seconds, a personal record. In the girls’ 300-meter dash, Ahjahnae Jackson took 13th with a personal record time of 48.06 seconds.
In the girls’ 1,000-meter run Charlotte Houtz (JV) took second in the event with a time of 3:32.48, a personal record. Mary VanFossen grabbed fifth place thanks to a time of 3:49.06, a personal record. Peyton Price (JV) finished in eighth with a time of 3:56.48, a personal record. Alina Laubacker (JV) came in ninth, running 4:02.18, a personal record. Hailey Pena-Hawk took 10th with a time of 4:03.32. Caroline Klink finished in 11th, running 4:03.5.
