Brett Lindsay, a 2017 Gloucester High School graduate, has completed his season playing in the Pecos Professional Baseball League as a member of the Rosewell Invaders. The Pecos league is an independent professional league that stretches from Texas to California.
Lindsay ended his season leading the team in hitting with a .400 batting average. He hit seven doubles, a triple and four home runs. Lindsay also had 24 RBIs and stole seven bases. Defensively, Lindsay committed only one error during the season while splitting time between third base and left field.
Currently, Lindsay’s playing career is on hold after accepting a coaching position at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain. UARM is a two-year school with a baseball program that is entering its fifth year of existence. Lindsay will be responsible for coaching outfielders, while aiding with hitting and recruiting.
