Heaven gained another angel. Geraldine B. Hedges, age 92, of Gloucester, died on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at Riverside Convalescent Center. Geraldine was born on Nov. 26, 1928 to the late David and Viola Strain in Baltimore, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Roxanne Baltodano; three sisters, and one brother; her husband, Charles “Wade” Hedges Jr., and daughter-in-law, Linda Hedges. She is survived by her son, Charles “Wade” Hedges III, and five grandchildren, Charlin O’Dell (Eric), Melissa Farrington (Max), David Baltodano (Kat), Heather Van Ness, and Charles “Wade” Hedges IV; five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Geraldine was well loved by everyone that knew her and she loved her family so much. She spent time with her husband volunteering at the Pascal Senior Center in Glen Burnie, Md. She loved to play Pinochle and do arts and crafts. Gathering of family and friends will be held at Hogg Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021 from 6-7:30 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery in Maryland. In memory of Geraldine, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
