George Perry Clevinger, 90, of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023. He was a native of Buchanan County, Va., and was the son of the late Dewey and Manilla Clevinger. He was retired from the shipyard and also Gloucester County Building and Grounds. He was a charter member of Grace Bible Church at Ark, Va., and was one of the Grundy Boys during the 1950s.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Clementine Rose Clevinger; son, Brian, and daughter, Sharon. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal; son, William; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Grace Bible Church on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, from 12-1 p.m. with a graveside service starting at 1 o’clock in the church cemetery. The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the mission program of Grace Bible Church.
