George Allen Ward, 61, of Mathews, died on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023.

Survivors include his stepfather, Harold Smith; sisters, Courtney Wyatt, Patricia Solomon, Carla Smith, and one brother, William Ward.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at Emmaus Baptist Church, North. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be held at Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery.

Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins, is in charge of arrangements.
