The musical farce “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” will be presented by the Court House Players Friday through Sunday, May 3-5, in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School. Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.
“Get ready for an uproarious evening of laughter and intrigue,” declared a press release from show director Amanda Adams. “This highly anticipated musical farce promises to deliver side-splitting humor and toe-tapping tunes that will leave audiences begging for more.”
Adams said the cast is led by Jim Anderson, who showcases his talent by portraying nine different characters in the eccentric D’ysquith family.
“From the bumbling to the charming, Anderson’s performances are sure to leave audiences in awe,” said Adams.
