“Family Treasures” will be the theme of the next meeting of the Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society of Virginia, to be held virtually at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11.
Those participating in the meeting are invited to share some of their treasured objects. Pictures of the items should be emailed to mpaaghs.va@gmail.com or texted to 804-651-8753 by Wednesday, Dec. 8. The email or text should include what the item is and the name of the person sharing it, and that person should be prepared to speak briefly about the item during the meeting.
