Gloucester County Public Schools will hold its “Math on Main” event Saturday, May 21. from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Gloucester’s Main Street.
All students will be given a map of Main Street with designated businesses to visit by grade level. They will have the opportunity to learn how math is used daily in local businesses, answer problems that come up in everyday situations and apply their current mathematical learning.
Students that return their work to their teacher will receive a prize for participating.
