Gwynn’s Island Baptist Church is offering a Music Camp for the second year in a row. It will be held from 6:30-8:30 nightly from July 7-11 at the church, located at 2011 Old Ferry Road, Gwynn.

The first night will begin with a family spaghetti dinner before participants break off into groups. Each succeeding night will begin with a large group session where all members will practice the camp songs, said a press release. Afterwards, participants will break into instrument group lessons: guitar, ukulele, drums, vocals, and tin whistle.

Participants may bring their own instruments, but there will be plenty of ukuleles, drums, and tin whistles available, said the release. There will also be a small supply of guitars.

Campers will take a break after their group lessons to enjoy snacks and socializing before returning to the sanctuary to practice as a combined group. The last night will include a large group session with parents and other invited guests, followe...
