Fruitcake recipe

THE FAMILY FRUITCAKE
1 lb. each of butter, flour, and brown sugar
12 eggs
1 box each of raisins, dates and figs
Mincemeat
1 apple, sliced
* ½ lb. each of red, white and green pineapple; red and green cherries and mixed fruit
2 lb. each black walnuts, almonds, English walnuts, pecans & filberts (hazelnuts)
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbs. cinnamon
1 Tbs. cloves
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. orange and lemon juice, half-and-half
Salt (about 2 tsp.)
½ c. grape wine
*Dried fruit
Mix and pour the contents in a cake pan and bake at 250 degrees until done (use toothpick test).
