The Friends of Belle Isle State Park in Lancaster will continue its Virginia Writers Series from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, with writer Ann Eichenmuller.
A former educator and recipient of the Washington Post’s Agnes Meyer Award for Excellence in Teaching, Eichenmuller took up her pen in 2015 and began her second career as a writer. Starting with marine journalism, her articles have appeared in All at Sea, Chesapeake Style, Boating Times, and Chesapeake Bay Magazine, earning her four Boating Writers International Awards.
A camping enthusiast and lover of all things vintage, Eichenmuller was also the creator of Motorhome Magazine’s “Classic Ride” column and a contributing writer for RV Magazine, RV Lifestyle and RV Trader. She published her first novel, “Kind Lies,” in 2017, a mystery/romance with a unique heroine that drew on her own experiences living aboard a sailboat.
