Mike James of Hayes wanted to help after the tornado that damaged portions of Gloucester in mid-April. He has found two distinct ways—lending a hand with debris removal and using his professional talents in computer-assisted design.
Using the computers at his business, CADOperators.com, LLC, James is coming up with interior and exterior plans for some of the tornado victims who are trying to rebuild their homes. He is not charging for these services, which he said would typically run in the hundreds of dollars.
As of June 10, James said he has almost completed design for one family’s replacement home in the Coke area and was about to start work on design for a second family.
