A free workshop on identifying daffodils and submitting them for entry in the Gloucester Daffodil Show will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, in the Chesapeake Lounge at Brent & Becky’s Bulbs, 7900 Daffodil Lane, Gloucester. Youth and adults are welcome to attend.
Brent Heath will be on hand to identify daffodils from local gardens, and instructors from the Gloucester Daffodil Club will help participants choose and groom the best daffodils for competition.
Daffodils will be available to work with for those who don’t bring their own. However, a press release encouraged entrants to bring their own daffodils, since they can only exhibit ones they’ve grown themselves.
