A children’s daffodil arranging event, sponsored by the Garden Club of Gloucester, will be held next month in conjunction with the Gloucester Daffodil Festival at Arts on Main.
Children ages 6-13 are invited to take part in this free session, which will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2.
With the theme, “Bloom & Grow,” each child will choose a colorful flower pot, select flowers from buckets, and be given free rein to create artistic arrangements. They may also take their creations home.
The event is free, with all supplies, flowers and decorative items provided by the Garden Club of Gloucester. Parents can register their children by calling Susan Howard at 804-693-4788 and leaving the child’s name, age, and parent’s phone number.
Sisters Sophia and Maddy Camp, from top, show the daffodil arrangements they created at a past Garden Club of Gloucester event. This year, children’s daffodil arranging will be held on April 2 at Arts on Main, Gloucester.
