Freddie Lee “Lee” Walker Jr., 58, of Hayes, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2023. He went peacefully surrounded by family.

He was born on November 11, 1965 in Newport News, Virginia, the son of Freddie and Sandra Walker. He was the oldest of three siblings.

He was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He touched many hearts of those who knew him. A hard-working mechanic in the community, lover of the ocean, adventurer at heart. His father was his role model; his daughter his heart and soul. He loved deeply and would give help to anyone he could.

He is survived by his daughter and her fiancé, Cassandra Walker and Devaughn Sailes; mother, Sandra Walker; sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Robbie Honaker; nephews, Alan Pruitt and Tiffani, Tyler Walker and Secelia, Gaige Honaker and Hunter Honaker; great-nephews, Jaxen Pruitt and Declan Walker

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Lee Walker Sr., and his sister, Pamela Pruitt.

A service will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at Rock Church. The visitation will be held at 10 a.m.; the memorial service will be held at 11 o’clock, 3515 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes, Va. 23072.
