Fred A. “PaPa” Carino,  73, of Gloucester, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014 in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

He was born in Richmond to the late Alfred J. and Olie Mae Carino. He was the retired owner of Carino Seafood in Williamsburg.

He is survived by his wife,  Shirley K. “Winkie” Carino; his children, Jeffrey Allen Carino and Tracy Lynn Carino, both of Gloucester; grandchildren, Samuel Joseph Goodwin, Cassidy Leigh Goodwin, and Allison Grace Goodwin, all of Gloucester, and two brothers, Vincent Carino and his wife Lynn of  Richmond and Alfred  Carino of Virginia Beach.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
