Frances Milby Goode, age 84, of Gloucester, a former Botetourt Elementary School employee, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.

 

She was a member of Salem UMC and was predeceased by her sons, William T. Goode Jr. and Donald W. Goode, and is survived by her husband of 65 years, William T. Goode Sr.; a son, Richard E. Goode of Jamaica; two granddaughters, Sara and Katie Goode of Gloucester; two great-granddaughters, Layla and Hannah; two sisters, Louise Lowery of Tappahannock, and Betty Noble of Newport News, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Milby of Shacklefords.

 

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Salem UMC Cemetery, Gloucester, conducted by the Rev. Rita L. Staul. The family received friends on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
