Frances Cornelius “Frannie” Williams, 95, of Mathews, passed away on Monday, Sept. 9, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marjorie McCallister; her son, Herman Williams; sisters, Juanita Muse, Bernetta Overton, Marie Hill, and brothers, James McCallister and Roscoe Williams.

Survivors include her children, Esther Owings, Walter Owings, and Star Johnson; two sisters, Tomasina Johnson James and Victoria Blackshear; 12 grandchildren; 12 plus great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9-11 a.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11. Burial will be in Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton.
