A funeral for Frances C. Gray, 79, of Gloucester, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Baptist Church, Gloucester. She died Sunday, April 24, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James E. and Loney W. Coles; two sons, Freddie Coles and Timmy Gray, and a grandson.

Survivors include her former husband, Alfred Gray of Delaware; eight daughters, Patricia Gray Boyd of Roanoke, Frances Ann Stokes and Vanessa Kertley of Newport News, Malisha Gray, Althea Rice, Phyllis Gray, Dorlene Gray, Carol Blake, all of Gloucester; three sons, Steveson Gray and Lloyd Gray of Gloucester, Jimmy Gray of Williamsburg; a sister, Margaret Drummond of Toano; a brother, Arthur Coles of Hampton; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Viewing will be held from 7-8 p.m. Friday in Howard Funeral Home, Gloucester. Interment will follow the service at Gloucester Field.
