“Frame of Reference,” an exhibit featuring works by Carolyn Thompson Dudley and Michael Faulkner, opens with a reception at Arts on Main’s First Friday, to be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. this Friday, March 7, at the gallery on Main Street in Gloucester. It is free and open to the public.
The two artists relate to the wonder of nature in two different perspectives, said a press release. They have the common bond of exploring beyond the outward appearance of what the eye can see, and focusing on the inward significance of the journey that deeply touches and gives new meaning to the creative process.
Live music for the event will be provided by Hunter Owens. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and beer and wine will be available for purchase.
The show will be on display until Saturday, March 29, during gallery hours, Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
