Broaddus explained the meaning of the candy cane to the audience at “Celebrating Christ at Christmas” program at the church. Games, scripture readings, solos, addressing Christmas cards to Walter Reed Convalescent residents, door prizes, and gingerbread cookie-making were among activities.
