Foster takes top prize in ‘History of Mathews’ art contest

Three young ladies were honored Sunday afternoon at the 2010 Mathews Market Days poster unveiling ceremony at Mathews Memorial Library for taking top places in the Mathews County Public Schools "History of Mathews" art contest.
Allison Foster took first place and the $100 top prize for her piece, titled "Linda’s Diner." Second place and $50 went to Megan Zeller for "Catch of the Day," while Hannah Rowe took third place and $25 for "Peaceful."
