Hands Across Mathews has received a $2,600 donation from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation to help feed neighbors in their time of need.
Hands Across Mathews will use money to help local families who have needs because of low income, illness, loss of a job or unexpected expenses, some of which result from the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a release from Hands Across Mathews stated.
“The Board of Directors and the Officers of Hands Across Mathews would like to thank the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation for this generous gift,” said HAM president Andy Jackson.
