David Fols is the new director of Bay Transit. Fols replaces Transit Director Ken Pollock, who retires next week following more than 20 years of distinguished service, according to a release from Bay Aging.
Fols was Bay Transit’s Fleet Manager for nearly 12 years. Bay Aging conducted a national search in advance of Pollock’s retirement.
“Transit Director is one of the most challenging roles at Bay Aging. Our transit division serves 3,000 square miles—that’s bigger than the state of Delaware,” said Bay Aging President and CEO Kathy Vesley. “We considered candidates from all over the country, and what stood out was David’s dedication, his deep knowledge of Bay Transit’s systems, and his compassion for our clients.
