The Three Rivers Health District has partnered with two Middle Peninsula localities to offer free drive-thru influenza vaccine clinics this month to people ages 16 and older.
They will take place from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday at the Richmond County Rescue Squad, 152 Community Park Drive, Warsaw, and 3-6 p.m. next Friday, Oct. 25, at the Hartfield Volunteer Fire Department, 3309 Twiggs Ferry Road, Hartfield.
Individuals interested should wear a short-sleeved shirt or a shirt that allows easy access to the upper arm.
Flu affects the respiratory tract and spreads when an infected person coughs or sneezes, said a press release. Typical flu symptoms include fever, dry cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, headache, muscle aches and extreme fatigue.
