A funeral for Flossie Marie Smith Hayes of Gloucester, will be held at 1 p.m. today in Rising Valley Baptist Church, James Store. She died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Smith and James Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Calvert “Danny” Hayes Sr., two daughters, Joyce Smith and Carolyn Hayes; two sons, Ulysses Smith and Calvert Hayes Jr.; one brother, Ashley Smith Sr.; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Viewing was held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins.

Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
