Ware Academy Head of School Dawn Fleet has been nominated for the National Life Group’s 2024-2025 LifeChanger of the Year award.
Sponsored by the National Life Group Foundation, LifeChanger of the Year recognizes and rewards the best K-12 educators and school district employees across the United States who are making a difference in the lives of students by exemplifying excellence, positive influence and leadership.
Fleet was nominated by her colleague, Assistant Head of School and Director of Development Patrick Billups, for her consistent leadership and contributions to the school community.
For over 20 years, Fleet has shown dedication in her many roles at Ware Academy, including teaching kindergarten, managing admissions, instructing dance, leading the drama club and serving as head of school.
Winners of the LifeChanger award are chosen by a selection committee comprised of former winners and education professionals and will be announced in early 2025.
