Flat Iron Crossroads is returning for the 2022 season this weekend with two shows—a virtual benefit and a live performance at the venue on Flat Iron Road in Gloucester.
Power pop singer/songwriter/guitarist Rob Fetters will livestream a performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday to benefit Flat Iron Crossroads.
Fetters has spent decades making records and performing music “on the edgy fringe of American power pop,” said a press release. His lyrics have been called “sacred, profane and sometimes very funny.” During his diverse career, he co-founded the 1980s’ avant-guitar pop band The Bears with singer/guitarist Adrian Belew and fronted the ’80s Midwest group The Raisins and the cult underground ’90s alt-pop band Psychodots. He has shared stages with the likes of KISS, Todd Rundgren, Cheap Trick and Billy Idol, said the release, and is an award-winning commercial music composer.
