Flat Iron Crossroads opens

Flat Iron Crossroads, the Gloucester performing arts venue, will open for the 2024 season on Saturday with a Mardi Gras party. The Travis Colby Band (led by Colby, shown above on the keyboards) has curated a special New Orleans style show and will be covering artists such as The Meters, Professor Longhair, Dr. John, and many others. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30. Catering this event is T-Boyeés Couillon Bon who specializes in Creole/Cajun cuisine and seasoning. Guests are encouraged to dress up and get tickets online at www.flatironcrossroads.com. Tickets are $20 in advance; $22 at the door. The following Saturday, Feb. 17, Flat Iron Crossroads will feature the original bluegrass and folk music of The Plate Scrapers.
