Fishermen receive citation for sheepshead, red drum, blueline tilefish

Large sheepshead have won citations in the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament for local anglers, as reported in vasaltwaterjournal.com for Oct. 4 and 11.
Kevin Horsley of Port Haywood, qualified for a 10-pound, 4-ounce fish caught Sept. 21 at York Spit Light;
Chris Robins of Hayes, caught his 10-pound, 15-ounce fish on Sept. 20 in Mobjack Bay; he received another citation for an 11-pound, 7-ounce fish caught the same day in the lower York River;
Billy Flippin of Bena, caught a 10-pound, 3-ounce sheepshead on September 20 at Poquoson Flats for his citation.
Other citations
Jon Kevin Moore of Gloucester, caught and released a 48-inch red drum on June 1 at Ware Point; and,
Michael Jones of Hayes, received a citation for an 11-pound, 4-ounce blueline tilefish caught Sept. 21 in Norfolk Canyon.
Jason Hall of Mathews caught an 11-pound, 2-ounce blueline tilefish on Sept. 22 at Norfolk Canyon, and Aaron Inge of Mathews scored the same day with a 10-pound, 9-ounce blueline tilefish there.
