A 3 lbs., 2 oz. bass and a citation pickerel were among the catches in the Beaverdam Reservoir last week. Several small sunfish were also caught off the dock. Park supervisor Patti McGrath advises anglers to come early as the fish have been biting in the morning but tend to fall off by midday.

The next Night Fishing event at Beaverdam will be held Sept. 6 and the next outing in the Big Bash Bass Tournament series is planned for Sept. 21. For more information, call the Ranger Station at 693-2107.
