The Ware Academy JV girls’ and boys’ basketball teams recently defeated Chesapeake Academy in their first games of the season. The girls, coached by Michael Bellinger and Jarius Monroe, defeated Chesapeake, 12-8. The boys, who are coached by Tara and Emanuel Nesbitt, celebrated a 25-8 win. Both teams are shown making “Ws” with their hands to indicate their success.
