A public session on personal and financial planning, sponsored by the Mathews Community Foundation, will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 176 Lovers Lane, Mathews.
Topics in the free program will include planning now to prevent future problems; avoiding probate through planning; and use of IRAs and other investments to lighten tax liabilities. A question-and-answer session will follow.
