Field’s Quilting & Craft Supplies, LLC, opened Monday in new quarters on Main Street, Gloucester, near the Morgan Building, in the building long-known as Fiddlers Green Antiques.
After leasing smaller shop space at three other locations in and around Gloucester Court House during the past three years, Robin Field of Gloucester, who owns the business with her husband Tom, decided to purchase the building where their business is now based.
The new and larger shop includes a spacious showroom, with a quilting room/office to the rear. Another room located in the rear is being prepared as a classroom, where Field said she soon will offer instruction in quilting, knitting, painting and card-making. The building also includes a two-bedroom apartment upstairs.
