The Gloucester Daffodil Festival has plenty of fun available for children this year.
The Gloucester County Public Library Bookmobile will be on scene during the festival. There will also be face painting with Giggles the Clown and a photo booth on Main Street.
Steve Gryb, the Pied Piper of Percussion, from Miami, Florida, will present, “The Rhythm is Going to Get You!” This is a total hands-on family music show where everyone can participate and play percussion instruments like tambourines, hand-drums and maracas. The show will be hosted Saturday on the Ken Houtz Chevrolet-Buick Daffodil Village Stage from 2:15-2:45 p.m., 3-3:30 p.m. and 4-4:45 p.m.
Gryb will also have “The Percussion Petting Zoo.” This hands-on activity will feature over 100 percussion instruments from around the world that everyone can touch, play, explore and have fun making sounds. This will be held Sunday on the Planet Fitness Daffodil Village Stage from 12:15-1 p.m., 2:45-3:15 p.m. and 3:45-4:30 p.m.
