A funeral for Ferrell Reece Chriscoe, 72, of Shacklefords, was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester. He died Saturday, March 26, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Maggie Chriscoe; one sister, and six brothers. He was retired as a long-time general contractor, and was a former fireman for the city of Hampton.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Moore of Asheboro, N.C.

Burial was at his home at Shacklefords.
