In December 2014, Keith Nuttall of Gloucester miraculously survived an accident where he was nearly impaled by a log on a logging truck that pierced the cab of his pickup and missed his head by only three inches.
Fast forward almost a decade, and fate has connected Nuttall and the driver of that logging truck once again, yet this time under more pleasant circumstances.
Nuttall is currently working as a security officer at Petsworth Elementary. That school’s custodian is on leave, and filling in is William Davis Jr.—the driver of that logging truck.
Davis and Nuttall did not get the chance to talk the first couple of days together at the school, but when they did get the chance to speak, they were surprised by what they found out.
When the two first spoke and told each other their names, Nuttall brought up the familiarity of Davis’s last name.
