Farren Winter wins All-America honors

Shenandoah University field hockey player Farren Winter of Gloucester has earned 2024 All-America honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association and Apex Field Hockey.
A fifth-year graduate student, the midfielder earned first-team honors for the first time following a stellar 2024 campaign. The ODAC Offensive Player of the Year led the Hornets with 16 goals and 9 assists, totaling 41 points, tying for the team-high with Cassidy Morrison. Winter concludes her career as one of Shen- andoah’s all-time greats, with 112 career points (the fifth most in program history), 38 goals (fourth all-time), 36 assists (fourth all-time), 88 games played (second in program history) and eight game-winning goals.
Her 2024 accolades include ODAC Offensive Player of the Week, ODAC All-Tournament Team, All-ODAC First Team, ODAC Offensive Player of the Year, and NFHCA All-Region First Team.
