Three Rivers Healthy Families and the United Methodist Women from Central United Methodist Church joined in a family fun day at the farm of Mike and Louise Witherspoon in Port Haywood on June 24. Events included tending to the garden, planting flowers and decorating flower pots for the children, pickling vegetables, and enjoying the outdoors in a beautiful farm setting. The partnership between Central UMW and Three Rivers goes back 15 years, during which the groups have gathered at the farm on several occasions to celebrate nature and community. Shown, from left on the steps, are Judy Moughon, Grace Mortimer and Dale Robinson; on the porch, Mike Witherspoon, Bobby Hall, Nancy Jagger, Louise Witherspoon and Nancy Goldman; standing in back in matching Three Rivers T-shirts, Lynn Hudgins, Vern Carter, Tesha Washington, Ryan McHale, Debbie Lancucki, Kendra Parsons, Jillien Pitts and Catherine Dunlevy.
