Family business springs from early baking love

Jenna Lee has had a love for cooking since early childhood. “My mother would make cakes for my birthdays and other occasions and for my dad to take to work. I made a mental picture of what and how she did it,” said Jenna, asked where and when she learned how to cook.
Today Jenna and her mother, Sherry McDaniel, are operating Jennaration Cakes in Urbanna. This bakery offers not only cakes for any occasions, but also cookies, cupcakes, brownies, pies, breads and cake pops (cake on a stick “and the kids love them”). Jenna is the owner and her mother, wanting to help when Jenna’s friend who was to join her in business found she could not, resigned her job and now it’s a family business.
