A Family Art Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, in the backyard of the Bay School Community Arts Center, 279 Main Street, Mathews.
Art and craft activities will take place through the day, said a press release, along with guided yoga, lawn games, and other activities for all ages.
Guests can add to a community painting pre-sketched by Bay School artist Virginia Coyle, participate in a Raku Firing Fundraiser, and listen to live music performed on the backyard stage.
The Hungry Hungry Arrow food truck will be on site, along with beer by the Gloucester Brewing Company and other drinks. Bay School volunteers will host a dessert table.
There is no admission charge, but access to all art activities except raku firing will require the purchase of an activity pass, $25 for all-access or $5 for single activity tickets. Children five and younger are free of charge.
